New Maps of Hyperspace DVD
The new trend in psytrance are definitely DVD releases. The Skazi DVD was a great success for Solstice as well as New Maps of Hyperspace featuring some of the big guns of psychedelic trance in a 6,500 strong New Year countdown.Shpongle, GMS, Etnica, Wrecked Machines, Hallucinogen, 1200 Mics and Dimitri are all here celebrating yet another successful year.

Your info on "New Maps of Hyperspace" is not accurate. This DVD was released in April 2005 and the Skazi DVD was released in November. (I was at the Tokyo party, standing on the side of the stage, where part of this DVD was shot.) So, Solstice did not "follow" the Skazi release in any manner. Also, there were only 6,500 people at Countdown 2004, not 8,000. Thanks!

You have to excuse people in Europe for not getting always their facts right when it comes to the Japanese psytrance scene.
